Did you know that Wombok.com is 6 years old? Amazingly, back in 2005, there was nowhere online for Sharon & I to post and share photos that we had shot using our newfangled camera-phones. So I built Wombok.com.
Three years later, some smarty pants in America “invented” The Facebook. I did consider closing down Wombok at the time, but I didn’t want to cut off those who might be afraid of facebooking. So instead I gave the old girl a lick of paint and Wombok lived to see another day.
Then another 3 years has past since then (where does time go?!?) and Facebook is still around, but still plenty of our friends/family still can’t be bothered with it. So Wombok is here to stay, but not before I given it another overhaul.
Hopefully you will find the new Wombok.com cleaner and easier to use. I really want our photos to be the main attraction here, so I’ve kept everything else very plain.
I have cleared out a lot of the guff and have added some fun new things to play with :
- Click Random (in the top menu) to jump to a random post from our past. Beware, you never know what might pop up!
- Click Archive (in the top menu) to see every post going all the way back to 2005
- Click Tags (in the top menu) to see find posts of a particular subject - (e.g. our love for #Street Art, or the very special #St James’s Park)
