What’s this blog all about then?

Chris and Sharon Skitch (née Ferreira) married in September 2007 after meeting each other in London 4 years earlier. During this time they have kept in touch with all their friends and family around the globe by creating Wombok.com.

And what the heck is a Wombok?

Well, it’s a pretty simple explanation. Chris is little bit chubby, a little bit slow, and a little bit lovable - much like the Wombat from his native Australia.  Sharon hails from South Africa, where the beautiful Springbok gracefully prances about it’s happy life - funnily enough, just like Sharon! And so, when a Wombat met a Spingbok, Wombok.com was born!

Coincidentally, it turns out that a “Wombok” is also Tagalog for a Pekinensis Cabbage !
